In the heart of the Eastern Townships, a dream took root in Stéphane Adam’s mind, like a gleam of light in the dense forest 🌳. As a child, he built modest cabins, weaving stories among the majestic trees, already revealing his passion for ecology and self-sufficiency.
In 1999, he seized the opportunity to acquire 165 acres of land in St-Étienne-de-Bolton. The land was marked by drastic logging, but where Stéphane saw much more than just virgin land. It was a canvas to rewrite a story, to restore nature to its original splendor 🌿.
Since then, every gust of wind that sways a tree, every damage caused by nature is turned into an opportunity. Fallen trees become lumber to build welcoming eco-lodges, harmonious shelters in the forest symphony 🏡.
The eco-lodges, the result of construction over the years, are not just shelters, but expressions of respect for the land that bears them. Each one is unique, carefully designed to blend perfectly into its environment, combining human ingenuity with the wild beauty that surrounds it 🍃.
Today, “Domaine Les Côteaux Missisquoi” is much more than a collection of lodges hidden among the trees. It’s a haven for nature enthusiasts, a refuge where one can get lost in winding trails, recharge with the rhythm of the seasons, and reconnect with the essence of life 🌟. Since 2011, its doors have been open to all those seeking to write their own story in the heart of nature.
